We like dancing and some Friday links

It's Friday and sunny and I feel good today. Partly because of your sweet and thoughtful comments on my last post. Some things aren't fixed quickly but it's always good to know there's others out there feeling similarly.

I've been reminiscing a lot lately. Probably partly as I'm thinking a lot about identity. I've been going through a lot of music I used to like and seeking out new bands. I've always found music uplifting and inspiring ever since the first time I bought music (Bob Marley, Queen and Genesis if you're interested). And Amelie's seems to be finding her inner rythym. We have music playing most of the day now and I love the way she bobs her head when she hears a beat she likes.

I also thought I'd try a little feature of Friday links since I keep finding so much cool stuff to share.

So here goes:

 ♥ Firstly a little self promotion. I have recently started a Facebook page. The intention is to share things that aren't always worth blogging necessarily but that you might like.

I've also amazingly been nominated for best baby blog in the MAD blog awards. There are some fairly epic other blogs listed so I'm certainly not expecting to win but it certainly feels pretty good to be nominated. If you fancied voting you can do so here. Thank you!

Okay on to other things.

 ♥ I have just discovered this band. They are now my new favourite band. I have had this on repeat all morning. Rhythm of a Dancer anyone? Have you recently discovered any new music you can't get enough of.






 ♥ I also recently completed the Capturing Childhood Manual Overdrive course. This was a short online course to help you get the most of your camera and learn how to use it on manual settings. I didn't even spend as much time as I would have liked working on the assignments but I now know how to use manual! If you knew how little I got my camera before this course you'd know why this is a big deal. Totally worth it if you want to understand the settings on your camera and what they do better. 

♥ Some yummy February seasonal dishes. I want to make the lime and passion fruit sponge. Or rather I want to eat it. 

♥ Thinking about summer already and adding this lion swimsuit to my must haves. This isn't indulgent the only swimsuit I have is a stretched saggy black affair I wore pregnant so it's allowed I feel.

♥ Hair boredom is making me think about doing this.

♥ For Londoners there's the Shoreditch Vintage Fair tomorrow. It's my day sans bebe tomorrow so maybe I shall pop along.
