Twilight

The other evening we had an impromptu party for three in the garden. Amelie had her dinner, we had wine and candle light. It was one of those lovely moments you don't plan but lift your spirits with their spontaneity and simplicity.

This was all quite a challenge photographically. I haven't really shot at dusk much and it was good to play around. I think I needed a higher ISO but it was fun to experiment.

I'm looking forward to spring so badly now. We'll be living in our little garden most days as soon as it isn't bitterly cold and I literally can't wait. There's nothing like that smell of spring in the air to get me all excited for balmy summer nights!

  3. You have inspired me to fed Kip outside today. He loves outside. He loves watching birds, watching trees and it's so cute. I can just tell Kip will love being outside when he's older. I will probably struggle to get him indoors for lunch.
I love your hair! Last night I got spoilt and I had a hair appointment, pedicure and what not. I'm starting to look like myself again pre pregnancy, hooray.
My sister took some gorgeous night shots with sparklers at new years. It's amazing what lovely pictures you can capture with a great camera like yours.
