The other day whilst staying at my mum's Amelie stood on a little child seat that had been mine and my sister's when we were little and washed her hands at the sink!
It was such a bittersweet moment. She's already becoming less like a baby and more like a toddler and she's not even 10 months old.
I know newborns are perfect little bundles of cuteness but I'm loving how her personality is developing and she's starting to understand things more. Not that I'm wishing time away but I actually can't wait until she can walk and talk, I love imagining what her voice will sound like!

She still has cute baby toes though, so at least that!
ReplyDeleteAre you bringing her up bilingual? I'd love to hear your experience (so far) - PA speaks to G in Italian and we spend a fair amount of time with my in-laws, but between me, nursery and sesame street (mum of the year here, I know) I think the English is definitely sticking more.

ReplyDeleteBabies are cute but I find as they develop it just gets even more fascinating and lovely! I love their constant discoveries and the joy they take in learning new things, it's so much more interesting than those early days.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! My little darling is 14 months now and I just cannot stop smiling. Everyday she does something new. She is a proper little girl now and we have so much fun together. Of course she was super cute as a baby but now she is like my little best friend:)
